On the second day of autumn at around 6,900 feet I found snow. That was a fabulous day. Dan volunteered to be my substitute teacher for the whole day. I can't tell you how many times I have wished for that blessing. A day off from homeschooling without the guilt of the children falling behind. Wow. Thank you Dan. Being able to take the day to get lost in the mountains biking meant a lot to me. I logged 25 miles and experienced some great views, down hills and trails. I even saw my first Bobcat in the wild.
